href=\"mailto:katie.stigter@carleton.ca\">katie.stigter@carleton.ca<\/a>&nbsp;<em>before&nbsp;<\/em>initiating the transfer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Carleton Advancement Gifts Admin team must inform CIBC Mellon to expect the shares in order for them to successfully accept the transfer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The timeline will depend on the broker, but CIBC Mellon should inform Carleton of the successful transfer and confirm the amount within ten business days of the donor&#8217;s broker sending the form to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:katie.stigter@carleton.ca\">katie.stigter@carleton.ca<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Within one to two business days, a letter of direction will be signed for the gift to be transferred to
