The Institute of African Studies and the Department of English invite you to join us on Thurs.,\u00a0Nov. 3rd from 4-6 pm in DT 2017, Carleton University,\u00a0<\/strong>for a dialogue on the cultural space afforded to Kenyan writer Ng\u0169g\u0129 wa Thiong\u2019o. A talk by Dr. Bryan Mukandi (School of Languages and Cultures, University of Queensland) will be followed by a conversation between Dr. Mukandi and Dr. Sarah Brouillette of Carleton\u2019s Department of English.<\/p>\n
