The Institute of African Studies and by the Institute of Health, Carleton University,\u00a0 present a seminar entitled \u201cOutlasting Peace: The Challenges of Providing Primary Healthcare in Northern Uganda\u201d by Dr. Dominique Corti. She is\u00a0 the only child of Dr. Lucille Teasdale, one of Canada\u2019s first female surgeons and founder of St. Mary\u2019s Lacor Hospital, will discuss the ongoing challenges of maintaining funding for health care in a recovering war zone.<\/p>\n
