Her current research interests revolve around identity formation. First, she is interested in the ways black young adults\u2019 identities are influenced by authentic representations on contemporary TV shows. She is also interested in investigating the ways in which Jamaican language and identity has developed as a result of slavery and colonialism. Raven enjoys eating food, drinking kombucha tea, watching TV shows, and being cozy at home.
