Naomi Bird (nêhiyaw/Plains Cree) from Thunderchild First Nation in Saskatchewan. She is the Research Facilitator, Indigenous Initiatives where she is working closely with the Ānako Indigenous Research Institute and the Office of the Assistant Vice President, Indigenous Initiatives. Naomi has extensive experience as an educator and program developer for a wide range of students from nursery to post- secondary and students with disabilities. Naomi is a mother of two and has been married for 21 years. She holds a Bachelor of Education Degree and a Master of Educational Administration Degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
