Carleton University has released Kin\u00e0m\u00e0gawin<\/em><\/a>, a new long-term Indigenous strategy with 41 Calls to Action<\/strong> to make Carleton a more welcoming space for current and future Indigenous students and faculty members.<\/p>\n

Kin\u00e0m\u00e0gawin<\/em> is the product of an 18-month collaborative process undertaken by the Carleton University Strategic Indigenous Initiatives Committee (CUSIIC)<\/a>\u00a0to revitalize Carleton\u2019s Indigenous strategy and re-energize relationships with Indigenous communities in Algonquin territory and across the country.\u00a0Led by Benny Michaud,<\/a>\u00a0Kahente Horn-Miller<\/a>\u00a0and Jerry Tomberlin,<\/a> the committee<\/a> included First Nations, M\u00e9tis and Inuit members from local communities, as well as Carleton faculty, professional services staff and students.<\/p>\n
