A PhD position in physics-informed deep learning for wind power is open in the APEX lab at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The ideal candidate will have experience in one, or more, of the following areas:

  1. Deep learning, auto-encoders, anomaly detection
  2. Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) modeling, Computational fluid dynamics
  3. Wind power prediction modeling
  4. Big data analytics, algorithm parallelization, database development
