Using the program level learning outcomes to guide this process, the team was able to redefine the scope of these essential courses and focus on what students really need to learn. Looking at the courses in this way has challenged faculty to consider not only what they teach, but <em>why<\/em> certain concepts and skills are taught.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Diana Majury led the steering committee, which included faculty and staff.
