She is a former elementary teacher, who is passionate about equipping educational professionals with the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and resources needed to support learner success. Dr. Youmans is a co-investigator of the Assessment and Instruction for Mathematics (AIM) Collective. She is co-editor of the book,\u00a0<em>Beyond 1, 2, 3: Early Mathematics Education<\/em>\u00a0and co-creator of the Coalition Model for Professional Development.
