She is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at the Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile (PUC) and Director of the Millennium Nucleus for the Study of the Development of Early Math Skills (MEMAT) in Chile. Her research examines the contextual factors and the individual cognitive, emotional, and motivational mechanisms involved in early math learning.
