Capital Research Day is organized by faculty members of Carleton University as a celebration and showcase for undergraduate research — posters, projects, papers, poems, and other experiments — addressing the Ottawa-Gatineau Region.
The event begins at 4pm on Wednesday, March 13th with poster sessions and presentations, followed at 6pm by a panel discussion on the topic of Capital research and thinking for the future. The day will close with an awards ceremony and reception from 7-8pm. All events take place in Woodside Hall at Dominion-Chalmers (355 Cooper St, Ottawa). This event is free and open to the public.
Panel speakers will include Catherine McKenney (City Councillor), Hindia Mohamoud (Ottawa Local Immigration Partnership), and Stan Leinwand (NCC Urbanism Lab).
