Applying for Graduate Programs
Admission to Carleton’s graduate programs is competitive. It’s important to familiarize yourself with the specific requirements of the program to which you wish to apply.
Post Baccalaureate - Studio First Application
Admissions to STUDIO FIRST, the first Post-Baccalaureate – Pre-architecture program in Canada, requires no formal architectural background. The program has been developed to help participants to assemble a portfolio for application to graduate programs in architecture, and to introduce the necessary skills to critically examine and design for built and urban environments.
The Carleton Advantage
At Carleton, you will be prepared for a career in the profession of architecture. You will also acquire an extraordinary foundation for many interdisciplinary and related design fields.
Your imagination will be your greatest asset as an architect. At Carleton, your imaginative abilities will be developed as you learn to balance the craft of image-making with the ability “to see” and “to see into” the images that you construct.
