Honorata Pieńkowska, OAA, FRAIC, has lived, studied, and worked in Poland, Finland, and Switzerland before moving to Canada, where she became a licensed architect, and since 1986, sole proprietor of HONORATA P. ROSEMAN ARCHITECT. Pieńkowska has taught all levels of design studio since 1996. As a professional mentor with the Ontario Association of Architects, she continues to guide students after graduation. She has also served the profession and community through involvement in organizations such as the City of Ottawa Design Review Panel, the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, the Ontario Association of Architects, and the National Capital Commission. She draws, paints, and exhibits on occasion.

HONORATA P. ROSEMAN ARCHITECT

The design studio, which intertwines simplicity and rationality with the poetic and painterly, has completed a wide range of projects. They include feasibility and urban studies, industrial, research and laboratory projects, residences, art installations, and bespoke furniture.
