Jay S. Lim, OAA, AIA, LEED AP, MRAIC, is the founder of the international & award-winning firm 25:8 Architecture & Urban Design. He has guided residential, retail, commercial & sports/recreation projects across the globe. His work as the design director has led to numerous publications and awards both nationally and internationally.

 

In parallel to leading architecture practice, he has established himself as a well-respected educator and leader in the design and construction industry. He is known for his passion for developing the next generation of talent. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in Architectural Design and Building Technology at Carleton University.  He has taught and been a visiting critic at Columbia University, the University of Waterloo, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Ryerson University & Conestoga College.

 

In addition to his work in Architecture and Academia, Jay is also a successful entrepreneur who founded the acclaimed 5:2:8 Creative Coffee Collective and real-estate development company, Ample Architectonic Assets.
