On August 13, 2021, Dr. Kamal Hossain<\/a> participated in a television interview with London-based BriteSpark Films for a science documentary exploring the mechanics behind the infamous 2016 Rideau Street sinkhole. The production focused on the complex geological and engineering factors that caused a massive section of the downtown Ottawa roadway to collapse during the construction of the O-Train Confederation Line.
