We believe that while a great education begins in the classroom, it definitely does not end there. We make sure the whole of the intellectual and material resources of Carleton and beyond are available to our students, through guest speakers, film screenings, guided tours of Ottawa architecture, visits to buildings of exceptional historic interest, and more. We also offer on-site courses abroad, and encourage and facilitate opportunities for students to spend a term studying at foreign institutions. While all these opportunities are optional, they can rank among the most memorable student experiences.
