ART HISTORY IN VENICE

NOTICE: Due to travel restrictions required by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have regrettably had to cancel the Winter 2021 term in Venice. We hope to resume the program when circumstances permit, and will update this page at that time.

The University of Warwick has a Venice program that is open to Carleton students.

Students take the following courses:

• Venice: Rise & Myth
• Exhibiting the Contemporary
• Introductory Italian
• Fee is £1200 (sterling), which includes tuition, entrance fees to museums, etc.
• Students need to pay for their airfare, insurance, accommodation, food, etc.
• We are looking into funding for Carleton students.

Continuing a unique partnership with the University of Warwick, Carleton students will have the opportunity to spend the semester studying in Venice, Italy in the Winter of 2021. The University of Warwick in Venice program has been offering students an immersive experience in the art, history, and culture of Venice for over 40 years.

While this program is currently planned to go ahead, the situation is obviously changeable due to COVID-19. If you apply for this program, please be sure to enrol in a full load of Winter term courses here at Carleton.That way, if the program has to be canceled because of the pandemic, you won’t find yourself shut out because courses are full. If the Venice program runs as scheduled, you can withdraw from the Carleton courses.
