The Community Autism Research (CARE) Lab at Carleton University aims to explore individual, family, and contextual factors that have an impact on healthy emotional development and support positive mental health and wellbeing in children and youth on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilities, as well as their caregivers and families.

In particular, we work closely with community-based autism, developmental service, and mental health providers, and autism advocacy groups to evaluate programs that support the mental health and well being of children and youth, and their families.
