Dr. Yvan Labiche is the Department Chair of the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering. His research interests include verification and validation of software systems with a particular emphasis on object-oriented systems, systems designed with the Unified Modeling Language (UML), and high-dependability systems, model driven development and object-oriented analysis\/design with the Unified Modeling Language (UML), software quality assurance and control based on quantitative methods and measurement, experimental software engineering, and applications of artificial intelligence and evolutionary computing to software engineering.<\/p>\n
