Across Carleton, researchers are managing big data projects and lending their expertise in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and database information and integration, among other areas. Big data projects within the Faculty of Engineering and Design include the Real Time and Distributed Systems Research Centre, biomedical informatics spanning real-time patient monitoring and data analytics to monitor maintenance requirements of aircraft engines.<\/p>\n
