The Carleton University Entrance Bursary application deadline is Friday, June 30.

What is a bursary?

A bursary is a monetary award that is granted on the basis of financial need. Carleton University offers bursaries to undergraduate students who are in receipt of some type of loan funding from either government student aid (OSAP or other provinces) or from a financial institution and continue to demonstrate financial need in order to finance their studies.

How to apply

To apply for an Entrance Bursary:

  • Login to Carleton Central
  • Select “Undergraduate Application Forms” under Awards & Financial Assistance
  • Complete the Entrance Bursary application

After you apply

Entrance Bursaries for incoming first-year students are assessed on an on-going basis until the June 30 deadline. If you are awarded an entrance bursary you will receive a letter shortly after the date we received your complete application and an admission decision has been made. Candidates who have not been awarded a bursary will not receive a letter.

Missed the deadline?

If you are unable to apply by June 30, don’t worry. You can apply for a bursary by completing the General Undergraduate Bursary application for current students. This application opens on Carleton Central on September 5.
