This round of bargaining is aimed at achieving a renewal agreement for the current collective agreement which expired on June 30, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Negotiating Team, Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 2424<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are looking forward to meeting with the Employer\u2019s team and beginning the hard work of negotiating our next contract. We believe there is common ground to be found in our mutual interests and shared commitment to build Carleton as a place to learn and work. We are dedicated to negotiating in good faith and with respect toward a settlement that reflects the realities of our members\u2019 work and life in the post-secondary sector, and at Carleton.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Duane McNair, Vice-President (People, Finance and Operations)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCarleton University deeply values the contributions of CUPE 2424 members and the vital role they play in supporting the success of our university community.
