Dr. Basu was very pleased to present a talk on “Global Issues, Global Water” to a group of elementary and highschool teachers. The talk covered issues such as the Flint, Michigan lead contaminaton, Virtual Water, Farmer Suicides in India, and Mine Tailings Pond Collapses. The talk was both global in nature and water issue, highlighting the vast variety of interaction water has with people and the planet.<\/p>\n
