Thailand<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/undergrad\/courses\/GINS\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GINS 2000<\/a> <strong>Ethics and Globalization<\/strong> introduces students to debates on global ethical issues and challenges them to think about their role as an ethical global actor.<br>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/undergrad\/courses\/GINS\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GINS 2010<\/a> <strong>Globalization and International Economic Issues<\/strong> examines the workings of the global economy.<br>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/undergrad\/courses\/GINS\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GINS 2020<\/a> <strong>Global Literatures<\/strong> introduces students to the global dynamics of the contemporary literary imagination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"third-year\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Third year<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/undergrad\/courses\/GINS\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GINS 3010<\/a> <strong>Global and International Theory<\/strong> is an advanced analysis of global and international theory from a variety of theoretical perspectives, many of which will have been introduced in earlier core courses.<br>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/undergrad\/courses\/GINS\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GINS 3020<\/a> <strong>Places, Boundaries, Movements and Global Environmental Change<\/strong> examines the relationship between individual places and global social and environmental changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"fourth-year\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fourth year<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Honours Seminar in Global and International Studies. A variety of seminars will be offered each year, focusing on a different theme or issue; students are required to choose one.
