a key requirement for engaging with the world is the ability to communicate in more than one language.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learning a second language will strengthen the competencies of BGInS graduates in that they will be able to have both varied and meaningful social and cultural interactions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employment opportunities may also diversify as a result of language skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>For students enrolled in one of the geographically-defined regional Specializations or Streams, only certain languages relevant to that region of the world may be used to satisfy the language requirement.&nbsp;
