Congratulations to Terra Clark from BGInS for being awarded with the Carleton University Research Opportunity<\/a> (CUROP) grant this year! CUROP is a prestigious undergraduate research internship. Under supervision of a faculty member, each student participant designed their own research project and complete it over the summer. Terra’s work was supervised by Associate Professor Sandra Fahy<\/a> of the BGInS Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terra Clark is currently pursuing their second year in BGINS with a specialization in Global Genders and Sexualities. As a recipient of the CUROP grant, they’re delving into research on Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy. With prior experience at the national level in gender-based rights and internationally with humanitarian charities, Terra aspires to explore the intersections between these two worlds. They are incredibly excited for this opportunity to learn and examine these connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
