Alexander Award, which included a $5,000 prize. Jordan is being recognized for founding and organizing the Mississauga-Malton Youth Association, which aims to empower youth to be engaged members of society through volunteer work, while also fostering and acknowledging diversity among youth in communities. Jordan&#8217;s work with the association and his community is exemplary of the core objectives of the BGInS Program, where students are encouraged to be engaged and active citizens.
