Internships will be made available annually by the Director of the College of the Humanities, to promising, full-time students proceeding from one year to another in a program within the College of the Humanities. These internships are intended to assist full-time returning undergraduate students in gaining summer research experience. Application is required. Endowed in 2016 through the generosity of the Maurice Price Foundation.

Students are invited to submit a research project that they propose to work on during the summer of 2018 in collaboration with a College faculty member. This summer we have one internship worth $3000, for which the awardee is expected to conduct 120 hours of research.

Interested students should send an application by email with the following information to the College Director (

  1. Resume
  2. Academic Audit
  3. Detailed description of proposed research project (no more than one single-spaced page), setting out the project you would like to research and what skills and experiences you hope to gain through this program

A statement of support from College faculty member who is willing to supervise the project is also required, and may be sent separately. At the end of the internship the awardee is expected to submit a brief summary of research that may be posted on the College website.
The deadline for 2021 is April 15th 2021
