What is your favourite thing about the College?

The joy and humour that comes from sharing ideas on some of the influential works in history. The mixture of serious discussion and connection to these texts alongside the fun students and professors have when learning about them.

What will you miss the most?

I will miss the excitement of new and varied class subjects every year paired with amazing Professors that I’m meeting for the first time or choosing to learn from again.

What is your favourite reading/book/text from the program?

I had the pleasure of connecting to Boccaccio’s Decameron very personally because I read it during Covid while doing school online. Of all of the texts in this program that stuck with me (and there have been alot) the parallels in my life to the group fleeing the plague and taking respite in sharing stories struck me the hardest.

What’s next for you?

I will be going into a one-year post-grad program for Museum Management and Curatorship at Flemming College.
