The Canadian Journalism Foundation (CJF) is proud to announce Dominique Gen\u00e9, D\u00e9mar Grant, Zuhra Jibril<\/span>, Daysha Loppie<\/span> <\/b>\u00a0and Aajah Sauter <\/b>as recipients of the Black Journalism Fellowship Program<\/a><\/u>, in partnership with CBC\/Radio-Canada, CTV News, The Globe and Mail<\/i> and the Investigative Journalism Bureau (IJB).<\/p>\n

The recipients of the 2023 CJF Black Journalism Fellowships are Dominique Gen\u00e9, D\u00e9mar Grant, Zuhra Jibril, Daysha Loppie and Aajah Sauter. (CNW Group\/The Canadian Journalism Foundation)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The fellowship program aims to amplify Black voices, improve coverage of Black issues in the news and cultivate future Black media leaders. Each fellowship provides a unique opportunity for an early-career Black journalist\u2014with one-to-five years’ experience\u2014to be hosted for six months at CBC\/Radio-Canada (English and French), The<\/i> Globe and Mail<\/i>, a CTV News newsroom or at the IJB at the University of Toronto’s<\/span> Dalla Lana School<\/span> of Public Health.<\/p>\n

The fellowship recipients are:<\/p>\n
