Lili Grieco-St-Pierre<\/span><\/b> (PhD Candidate\/Collaborative Specialization in Biochemistry) published a popular science article describing how different subtypes of type 2 diabetes affect complications and treatment options. Type 2 diabetes is not a one-size-fits-all condition and patients can be further diagnosed as having insulin-deficiency, insulin-resistance, obesity-related diabetes, or age-related diabetes. This is part of the research of Prof. <\/span>Jenny Bruin<\/a> (Institute of Biochemistry). <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
