Sydney Pedari<\/b> <\/span>(BSc Computational Biochemistry\/2023) has presented their research on streamlining plastic reclamation using microbial degradation at the Annual Canadian Ecotoxicity Workshop. <\/span>This work was part of a larger project in the group of Profs Daniel Gr\u00e9goire<\/a> and <\/span>Yaxi Hu<\/a> (Institute of Biochemistry). This research characterized plastics using a rapid spectroscopic technique and investigated microbial biodegradative capacity of said plastics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
