Biochemistry &amp; Biotechnology\/2021 and M.Sc. Biochemistry\/2024) and Michael Shaikhet (B.Sc. Biochemistry\/2025) have published research on cell membrane-targeting antimicrobial compounds. This work was part of a larger project in the group of Prof. <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/chemistry\/people\/avis-tyler-j\/\">Tyler Avis<\/a> (Institute of Biochemistry).
