Friday, Oct. 11 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. 20-minute timeslots available throughout the day.

Where

The Butterfly Greenhouse is located in the Nesbitt Biology Building lobby, on the Carleton University campus.

Who

Groups of up to 30 individuals per timeslot are welcome.

What to expect

During the group tour, participants will enjoy watching the beautiful butterflies soar through the greenhouse. The butterflies occasionally land on people, too!

As an additional offering, groups can also attend a 20-minute presentation about the butterflies hosted by Let’s Talk Science volunteers.

Free bus parking is available outside Nesbitt building. Parking for individuals is available on campus for a small fee.

Group Pricing

The Butterfly Show is run entirely by donations. The butterfly pupae make up the bulk of the cost, totaling approximately $8000 annually.

To continue hosting this one-of-a-kind event, we welcome donations from those attending. A minimum donation of $5/person for group visits is encouraged.
