SUMMARY:2015 OCIB Symposium: The Next Generation
DESCRIPTION:The 12th annual Ottawa-Carleton Institute of Biology (OCIB) Symposium will be held on the Carleton University campus this year, on April 29-30.



 This year’s theme, “OCIB: The Next Generation”, is two-fold. Under this theme, we wish to highlight novel methods and technologies, as well as focus on up-and-coming researchers and graduate students as the next generation of innovators. We are planning an exciting lineup of guest and student speakers to address new technologies and the road ahead.



Registration for oral and poster presentations is also open! There are a limited number of oral presentations so we ask that students who are interested in giving an oral presentation please submit a 250 word abstract during registration, from which we will base our selection.



More information about the symposium can be found at www.ocibsymposium.com. The OCIB symposium is a terrific event and a great opportunity to learn about the exciting research being conducted by local and invited speakers.
