I have made friends who will likely be with me for quite a while. These friends have made the workload more bearable, whether it was sharing notes, study sessions, or the emotional support. The professors I have met throughout my undergrad have been more than supportive, especially with my work in research projects, my thesis, my advocacy work, and the support for Carleton HeLa. They encouraged critical thought and creativity in my work, which is what I am the most grateful for!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>My Goals for the Future:<\/strong> I am hoping to work in public health with refugees, specifically refugee women and girls in reproductive health. I hope to work either in the context of refugee women and girls in Canada and\/or Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. I will be attending Carleton University for my Master&#8217;s in Migration and Diaspora Studies and will likely take a Master&#8217;s in Public Health down the road. This remains as my career interest, but I am planning to work\/volunteer in different grassroot human rights organizations, as most change happens at the grassroots level.
