<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<p>The following requirements must be met in order to complete the program:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Completion of coursework and credit requirements, as laid out in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/grad\/gradprograms\/biology\/\">Graduate Calendar<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completion of an oral Qualifying Examination (within 18 months of entry into the program).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presentation of at least one public seminar on the candidate\u2019s thesis research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completion of a thesis incorporating the results of original research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Successful oral defence of the thesis before an examination board.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"w-screen px-6 cu-section cu-section--white
