Topics will include biological molecules, cells, genetics, and various organ systems. Winter 2027<\/strong><\/td>BIOL2107<\/td>Fundamentals of Genetics<\/td>Mechanisms of inheritance and the nature of gene structure, composition and function, introducing both classical Mendelian genetics and modern molecular genetics.<\/td>0.5 credit<\/td>  In-person<\/td>190<\/td>2 TA @130 hours<\/td>Candidates must meet the minimum required qualifications listed above with experience teaching introductory genetics (Mendelian genetics, molecular genetics, population genetics and chromosomal analysis). Candidates must have strong abilities to communicate complex genetic concepts to non-specialist audiences.  <\/td><\/td><\/tr>

Fall 2026<\/strong><\/td>BIOL3306<\/td>Human Anatomy and Physiology<\/td>The anatomy and physiology of the neuromuscular, cardiovascular, respiratory, and excretory systems of humans with comparison to other animals.<\/td>0.5 credit<\/td>  In-person<\/td>200<\/td>2 TA @130 hours<\/td>Candidates must meet the minimum required qualifications listed above.<\/td><\/td><\/tr>
Winter 2027<\/strong><\/strong><\/td>BIOL4206<\/td>Human Genetics<\/td>A survey of human genetic variation and mutation in a molecular genetics context. Topics may include molecular basis of diseases, chromosomal abnormalities, genomic imprinting, cancer genetics, genomics, gene mapping and gene therapy.<\/td>0.5 credit<\/td>  In-person<\/td>60<\/td>1 TA @130 hours<\/td>Candidates must meet the minimum required qualifications listed above.<\/td><\/td><\/tr>
Winter 2027<\/strong><\/td>BIOL4304<\/td>Forensic Biology<\/td>An introduction to forensics that covers topics in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, population genetics and statistics as they relate to forensic biology. The course will describe the techniques used to identify body fluids and generate DNA profiles as well as the interpretation of forensic results.<\/td>0.5 credit<\/td>  In-person<\/td>50<\/td>1 TA @130 hours<\/td>Candidates must meet the minimum required qualifications listed above.<\/td><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
