Carleton Biology instructor and researcher&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/biology\/people\/gregory-bulte\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gr\u00e9gory Bult\u00e9<\/a>&nbsp;has watched hours of video of turtle mating behaviour\u2014all in the name of science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bult\u00e9, who teaches ecology and evolutionary biology, has studied a group of wild northern map turtles at their hibernation spot at Lake Opinicon, about 130 km southwest of Ottawa, for close to 20 years, examining their behaviours over time.
