Join us in saving lives!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join our team and help save some lives! We hope to have 50 donations by April 9th<\/strong>, and everyone<\/strong> is welcome to participate! However, if you cannot donate before April 9th, that\u2019s no problem, as all of your donations will count towards our goal once you\u2019ve joined the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to join:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.Set up an account on blood.ca<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. or on the GiveBlood app for\u00a0<\/strong>Apple<\/strong><\/a> or <\/strong>Android<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select \u201cpartners<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0from the menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select \u201cjoin <\/strong>a team<\/strong>\u201d and type \u201cTeam <\/strong><\/a>Carleton SciSoc\u201d<\/a><\/strong> in the search bar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Book your next appointment either through our team bookings or as an individual. Every donation you make will be counted with Team Carleton SciSoc!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If you would like to donate blood with a group, please email our VP Comms, Vanja, at communications@sciencesociety.ca<\/a>, and we will block off up to 10 appointments at your preferred location, so your group can then go into the portal and make appointments!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you join our team by March 31 at 11:59pm EST, you will be entered to win one of two prizes: an activity tracker and a $50 Amazon gift card! <\/strong>Anyone that joins our team is automatically entered into the contest. If you do not want to be entered but still want to join the team, please email us. Please make sure that you share your information with us in the portal (we will only see your name & email), or else we will have no way of entering you into the draw. BIG thank you to CBS for donating these prizes!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You do not have to be eligible to donate blood or in Ottawa to join our team!<\/strong> You can still donate anywhere in Canada (excluding QC) and we\u2019d appreciate you spreading the word any way you can. Please let us know if you have any questions!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
