https:\/\/osainstitutecr.com\/<\/a> The Osa Institute is an international education and experience provider and biological research station. Since 2011 we have provided affordable, valuable, positively impactful programs, and short and long-term study abroad programs that enable participants to enhance both personal and community development as well as achieve various academic endeavors while providing opportunities and lessons that build interpersonal, time-management, problem-solving, and adaptability skills that will aid in future career development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our institute is conveniently located between the Corcovado National Park and Piedras Blancas National Park in the Forrestal Reserve of the Sweet Gulf (Golfo Dule) on the Osa Peninsula known as \u201cThe most biologically intense place on earth\u201d- National Geographic. All of these attributes make our station an excellent option to conduct biological and ecological field research with us in this remote corner of Costa Rica which harbors 2.5% of the biodiversity of the entire planet in less than a thousandth of a percent of its total surface area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Non-Majors Biology Lower-Level (100 or 200) 4 Credit Lab Based<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Course may be taken online or on-site, two week required lab on-site in Costa Rica<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our facility offers a center of studies for a wide range of disciplines for both university credit-seeking and non-credit-seeking students, volunteers, interns, civil scientists, field courses, student groups, researchers, teachers, conservation trips, and other visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Logistics management in-country is offered through: Transportation Orientations (pre-departure and in-country) Project management with on-site staff coordinating and implementing alongside participants Accommodations and Meal plans Emergency services assistance Academic credit assistance and support Supplemental excursions and classes with a variety of focuses (Spanish conversation, Latin dance, Latin cuisine, yoga, surf, etc.) Itinerary creation and implementation Program coordination with adaptation in all phases (pre-arrival, in-country, post-departure support)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
