The Ottawa S2BN (https:\/\/www.s2bn.org\/ottawachapter<\/a>) is recruiting up to 2 Event Support Associates, and 1 Marketing Associate for the 2022-2023 academic year. Please see below for a description of the available volunteer positions, and details on how to apply (pls note application deadline is Friday, November 25th<\/em><\/strong>)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Science to Business Network \u2013 Ottawa Chapter – Positions<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. I) Event Support Associate<\/u><\/strong>(up to 2 positions available)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

     <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Purpose<\/strong>: Event support associate will coordinate the clerical, financial, and administrative tasks associated with S2BN event execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

     <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    – Print\/manage event \u2018registration\u2019 sheets, nametags, and signage<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    – Draft post-event feedback surveys and draw insights to direct future event planning<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    – Compile event expense reports including receipts and submit to program lead to ensure effective tracking of finances<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    – Maintain an event attendee master-list for marketing purposes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. II)\u00a0Marketing Associate<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

       <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Purpose<\/strong>: Marketing associate will help plan and implement S2BN event marketing activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

       <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Responsibilities: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      – <\/strong>Design S2BN promotional materials including event posters and newsletters<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      – Advertise chapter events and activities through all organizational channels, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      – Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      – Email contact list<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      – Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for programming and events<\/p>\n\n\n\n

       <\/p>\n\n\n\n
