The CIRTN is a relatively new network of islet biologists from across Canada with &gt;50 PIs and &gt;200 associated trainees\/research staff. Noa has invested a huge amount of time and energy over the past 2+ years leading the CIRTN trainee volunteer group. There were 2 mentorship awards presented: one for a PI and one for a trainee or research staff who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to mentorship and training in the Network. Noa received the trainee award in recognition of her contributions to our growing national islet biology community<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CIRTN was established in 2020 by joint contributions from the University of Alberta, University of British Columbia, University of Manitoba, Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al, Insitut de Reserches Cliniques de Montr\u00e9al, and the University of Toronto.
