Each year, the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasonline.org\/news-and-multimedia\/news\/2023-nas-election.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NAS recognizes<\/a>&nbsp;the distinguished and continuing achievements of researchers in science, as well as engineering and health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fahrig joins a prestigious list of 526 international members, alongside 2,565 active United States members.
