Our Biology Masters student, George Hilan started his own STEM podcast here on campus, called \u201cwhere knowledge STEMs from<\/u><\/b>\u201d. First two audio episodes are out now, and all future ones will be video based. George conveys <\/span>“In the last year or so, I struggled to figure out what my next step after my graduate degree would be, so I started asking people I knew about how they got into the STEM field and what kind of job they envisioned themselves doing. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I found many exciting stories and lessons from the different individuals I spoke to (professors, PhD candidates, <\/span>M.Sc.\/Med students, engineers, & industry experts). This made me realize that others may have similar questions and would certainly benefit from the experience these professionals had to offer.”<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
