Cooke<\/a>, our biology professor of applied fish ecology at Carleton University, has been inducted into the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame. This recognition is bestowed on those who have spent a great share of their lives promoting, educating, and sharing their passion for fresh water sportfishing. Doing so in a manner which positively impacts the sport for the millions of anglers around the world. There are many who love to fish, but few who can be considered Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Famers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His induction into the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame is a testament to his enduring legacy and influence in the field of fisheries science. As a Fellow of the American Fisheries Society and an International Fellow of the Explorers Club, <strong>Dr. Cooke<\/strong> continues to inspire the next generation of fishery scientists and conservationists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations to <strong>Dr. Steven J.
