She participated in the Carleton 3MT competition with her topic: Foliar Fungal Endophytes: What and Why?<\/p>\n<p>Samantha was a top 10 finalist in the 2014 3MT competition at Carleton.<\/p>\n<p>Her video can be found here <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/wHdj-xNdVSg\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/wHdj-xNdVSg<\/a><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) competition challenges graduate students to present the main idea of their master&#8217;s or PhD research in three minutes or less. Judges evaluate participants on their ability to effectively and succinctly communicate their research to a general audience.
