Cooke\" href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/biology\/people\/steven-j-cooke\/\">Steven Cooke <\/a>, an associate professor in the Department of Biology and Institute of Environmental Science, has been awarded the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nserc-crsng.gc.ca\/Prizes-Prix\/Steacie-Steacie\/Index-Index_eng.asp\">E.W.R. Steacie Memorial Fellowship<\/a>. As part of the award, he will receive $250,000 to continue his research on stress experiences of individual fish during migration, with a focus on salmon and trout.
