Contract Instructor Opportunities Winter 2018
\n<\/strong>Carleton University, Department of Biology<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pursuant to Article 16 of the CUPE 4600 Unit 2 Collective Agreement, applications are invited from members of the CUPE 4600-2 bargaining unit and other interested persons to teach the following Biology courses during the Summer 2018 term.<\/p>\n

Required Qualifications:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Candidates should hold at least an MSc in Biology, or related field, and demonstrate teaching competence in a relevant area, preferably at the university level.\u00a0 Priority will be given to candidates holding a PhD. For first and second year courses priority will be given to those with experience teaching large classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

\nPlants and Herbivores<\/strong>
\nExploration of the chemical, physiological, ecological and evolutionary interactions that underlie the relationship between plants and their insect herbivores.<\/p>\n

Prerequisite(s): BIOL\u00a02001<\/a> and BIOL\u00a02002<\/a>.
\nLectures\/seminars three hours a week.<\/p>\n
