Carleton Biology\u2019s Dr.<\/span> Steven Cook<\/b><\/a> was on CBC Radio<\/span> In Town and Out with Giacomo Panico<\/i><\/b> on February <\/span>22nd <\/sup>to talk about the Emergency<\/span> Action Plan for Saving Freshwater Biodiversity – from platypus in Australia to river dolphins in the Amazon to Bull Trout in Alberta to mussels in Europe to frogs in southeast Asia. The Emergency Action Plan, which is the<\/span> first ever recovery plan to save the planet’s rivers, lakes and wetlands from catastrophic collapse, is <\/span>developed by a team of global experts <\/span>from the World Wildlife Fund and the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and <\/span>co-authored by Steven Cook.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
